Fun with Our Phones Monday

So I did something I have needed to do for a long time, and the day off today seemed like the perfect time... I backed up all of my pictures... over 3000 pics off of my phone and my laptop that were not saved anywhere else!  Now they are safely on the external hard drive, but I cannot bring myself to delete them off of my lappy... I am however terrified something is going to happen to my phone and laptop (though there are no reasons for this right now), so I made sure each and everyone of my contacts were backed up and synced to my gmail acct also.  I then cleaned out about 300 emails that were just sitting in my various folders.  It feels good to have some of my online stuff taken care of :)

 So, I didn't really think I needed another purse, but my mom talked me into a Miche bag... and I love it!!!  So nice to just be able to change the cover and not move all of my crap around!

 Went out to see my favorite band for the first time in forever, plus dinner with a friend, so I decided to play around with curling my hair again.  This top is kinda cut like a dress, but I love it with jeans...def my new fav outfit for going out!

 I was changing out laundry, and heard something clinking in the bathroom... he managed pretty well in these!

 Molly needed some repairs... this is the first time in 5 yrs that I didn't have any "warning/notification" lights on in my girl...

 Massive curls before my work party... my sister actually got a curling wand, not a curling iron... I need to be getting myself one of these!

In the above picture, J's brother is in the middle.  We were bone sober, and decided to skip down the street, singing the song from the Wizard of Oz... wouldn't you know I bit the pavement... Sober!  Ripped my fav jeans, and this was my knees 2 days later... still cut up actually....

 I know it's hard to tell bc he is so blonde, but his dad's sister (or mom, everyone keeps changing who did it), took scissors to Woozie's hair... it was so jacked up!!!

 Work schedule for the holidays/Beginning of Jan... I will take it!!

 Had my first Starbucks of the Holidays... after the morning I started with, it was much needed!

 He calls me "Ber", and we were getting ready to go to lunch on Friday... he thought my makeup were toys... so here he is playing with Aunt Ber's Toys :)

1 Month Later

Christmas was amazing... I love having a little one around!  He was so spoiled, and this Auntie got lots of loves in, which was awesome!

I did get really discouraged when it came to my blogging the past 2 months, and I let it slide.  I am working on some posts, and I cleaned out my GoogleReader this morning, so I am looking forward to staying on top of things and being able to comment more!

I am off today, so I am off to do another load of laundry, work on a link up post, and make myself some super yummy lunch!  Be back soon, Loves!

FAIL!

I have no excuses... other than I have neglected my blog and my fb.  I so wanted to keep up with the Blogher Challange, and I plan on starting my own personal challange in December to keep up with it myself.  I just haven't had the motivation with work, family, the holidays and other things going on.  I am hoping to be back soon, but right now I am reading, just not commenting as much either.  My google reader has over 1000 entries in it, and today is the first time I have turned on my lappy in over 10days... *Sad Face*

Fun with our Phones/Day 13

So I spent Sunday night catching up on all of your emails over the past week... thanks for spreading the love :)
Now if only I could get caught up again on my google reader... I so miss your blogs!!!  Planning on making time for that Tuesday and Wednesday night.

I also spent the night working on my binder/planner.  I have seen a lot of you creating your own "Life Binders", and I thought it was a great idea!  Mine is def a work in progress, and I can't wait to have it functional.  I will let you all in on a peek in another post... super excited about this!

Now onto the photos!

Kate at Dancing in the Minefields posted this last weekend, and I knew that I could adapt this to work with my 2yr old nephew.  He didn't so much like having his hand traced, but it was a lot of fun to do Tues night before dinner.  I wrote the name of everyone in our immediate family on my mom's side, and something fun we did with him.  I made 2, so there could be one at my moms and one at my sisters, and everyone loved it!

So Friday night was Veteran's Day, and we did an awesome benefit with Guitars for Veterans where I work weekends, so I bartended the night.  Basically, we had 3 musical acts that the vets would like, and admission was free for the them.  For everyone else, it was $10/person, or the donation of a new or gently used guitar.  These will then be used for music lesson/music therapy for the vets.  It was so much fun!











Saturday night was my friend's birthday party... I had so much fun getting ready, and actually curled my hair for the first time on my own, which required purchasing a curling iron for the first time.  I used a tutorial from Ashley, and it was so easy!  J loved it, and I will def be making it part of my getting ready routine :)

And finally, I got these on Sunday from my gram.  My grandpa passed away 5yrs ago in a fire, and I thought these were in the house with him.  I was so surprised and excited to get these from her... they mean a lot :)
