Just keep Swimming...

So much has happened since I last hit "Publish".  Good, bad, it really doesnt matter, other than the fact that Ive kinda missed this little place on the Interwebs.

Been a pretty busy girl, with work, celebrating a birthday, and buying a car for the first time on my own.  Ive been trying to be a better GF, sister, auntie, daughter and friend.  Its been overwhelming, and at times my head has been so ready to explode.

I feel like there is so much more to say, and I miss the "love" from mingling with you special ladies.  I am going to work on finding the time this week, PROMISE made!

Until then I will leave you with this from last night... J and I went to see Matchbox 20 and Goo Goo Dolls last night.  Between the 2 acts, it began to rain.  This was my sad face, HOWEVER, it stopped just in time for Matchbox 20, which was by FAR the best live act I have ever seen!!!

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had an amazing day!!  We got a chance to see most of our local family today, so it was pretty darn perfect.  Complete with a nap, some kitchen organizing, laundry, and now Game of Thrones.  I honestly have not read the books, and am very lost at times, but Josh loves the books, so the show is a must in our house :)

I still apparently have to figure out how to set my blog up there, but can I tell you how much I LOVE Bloglovin????  I have always had a love/hate relationship with Reader, but was pretty anxious when I found out it was also ending.  Yesterday I created my Bloglovin acct, and imported all of my blogs.  Then came the "trimming" process... Blogs I dont remember following, invite only, or ones that havent been updated in a while.  I just read my first post and loved being able to comment right there... Im hooked!

Quiet

Other than Teen Mom in the background (turned down super low), my apt is surprisingly quiet tonight.  I need the quiet right now.  With everything thats been going on in the past month at work, family drama, and just feeling like Im running in circles...the quiet is so welcome right now.
I should head off to bed... 5a and being on my own tomorrow morning at work is going to seriously kick my butt.

Sundays are meant for...

Relaxation, recharging and cuddling with your Love!

J and I have a solid rule about Sundays, and its one our families are learning to respect and adjust to... We tend to not leave the house on Sundays.  We can go all we want on Saturday, but Sunday is ours. 

Laundry, cooking, house cleaning, DVR watching, and for me... Bubble baths complete with hair and face masks, nails... Its our thing.

So if youre looking for this girl, chances are I have a huge mug of tea and Im snuggled on the couch while J naps... Love this kind of day!

Good Morning... and some Sunday Social

Good Morning!

I feel like such an old lady right now... up at 730a on a Sunday!  I guess that's what being an old lady and not doing S**t in the weekends now does for you.  Seriously,  we were home around 7pm last night, I had my makeup off and was in bed watching reality TV on the DVR by 830p, and I am pretty sure I feel asleep by 9... lame!

But, it does give me an opportunity to get some stuff done, I guess.  Laundry, and cleaning this damn apartment are on the agenda.  Honestly, I feel like I just want to purge everything.  I kinda feel like my life is a ball of chaos again.  Things were going so well for so long, and then Bam!  I wake up one morning this week and feel like things are closing in around me.  I think it will be better once things are cleaned, organized and I don't feel like I am tripping over 3 things to get to 1...

So enough about that!  How about doing something I haven't done in forever?!?!?  Linking up for something!

3. If your house was on fire what two things aside from family, pets, etc would you grab?

Our external hard drives, and our fire proof safe.  Everything else is replaceable, but all our our identification and our photos are stored on these 2 items.

4. What are your two most favorite articles of clothing?

Well, this changes by the week!  Seriously, I have 2 and a half closets full of my "favorite clothes"...  but in all reality, I am a jeans and heels girl, so as long as they fit well, make my legs and A** look amazing, and are hot, I am all good :)

5. What two movies that you saw in the past year would you recommend to us?

We used to be such movie people, but honestly, we hardly go see anything new anymore!  And as far as watching movies, all of our stuff has been old and lame.  I think we watched Rudy and The Avengers recently, and I really liked both of them.  But other than that, I am not the girl for recent movies!

6. What are your two biggest guilty pleasures?

Lately it has been red wine, and shopping.  I could say TV, or even bubble baths, but those have not been nearly as bad as the  shopping!  Oh well, a girl has to have her vices!

Alright... time for some laundry, cleaning, and maybe the gym.... if the cleaning reveals where my gym membership card has been hiding... oops!

2 Months...

And yea... Not much going on in these parts.  Working insane hours, trying to maintain Domestic Goddess status, and still function as a human being can be hard work.  But at least I still manage to look cute doing it :)

In all seriousness though, I can say Ive missed my blog terribly.  Ive been loving Instagram lately, and still read quite a few blogs (being more of a "lurker" lately, I guess)... I just dont miss the competition I suppose.  Trust me though when I say Ive met some of the most amazing ladies through this little blog, and keep in contact with a few.  That in itself keeps me thinking of coming back...

But it seems like a lot of work, and right now, I dont want "work"... So who knows... Maybe my problem is ME.   Maybe I got too caught up in the hype and nonsense.  Whatever it is, I need to figure out how to write more, for me.
