My best guy friend works for a local radio station, and he gets all of the tickets to concerts that people win but don't pick up. Catch is we get crap seats sometimes and don't know til the day of if we have tickets. He called last night to see if I wanted to go see Goo Goo Dolls and Michelle Branch... 2 of my favs!!! Josh and I were super excited.
We get there, and we have general admission, but then we also have these tickets that say "Star". We ask and usher, and he directs us to the gated off area with actual chairs near the front... SWEET!
The lady reads our tickets and smiles... we were FRONT ROW AND CENTER!!!! Seriously, no one else in front, about 8ft from the stage :-)

still a free ticket is a free ticket - What restrictions do they have on camera use. I have on the odd occaison got my SLR in but mainly for out door gigs. Although I did get it into a Vampire weekend small gig which was awsome
