Day 7

What my weekend looked like, in a nutshell:

Friday: came home, cleaned the spare bedroom and our bedroom.  Sorted all of the laundry into piles to be washed.

Saturday: woke up early (not so much thanks to the neighbors) and ran to the grocery store quick for breakfast stuff.

Plopped on the couch, called my mom, watched Glee (I forgot it was back on Tuesday) and proceeded to clean up my google reader.  I went through and removed blogs I really didn't feel a "connection" to, ones that had invite only, or hadn't posted since August.  I then cleaned up my blog roll (still working on that), typed up a few posts, and made some more rounds to comment.  I'm by no means where I want to be with blogging, but I feel like I am making progress.  :)

Blogger and Google Reader and I are not exactly BFF's right now though.  The blogs I don't follow anymore, I removed them from my dashboard (I clicked the unfollow button in my profile) and even went as far as to Unsubscribe in Google Reader.  Sometimes when I sign into Google Reader (which is my preferred way to read blogs), it still shows these blogs.  So then I go back to Dashboard, click the Manage button, and they are not there.  Annoying!  And then there are blogs I know I am following (I can see I am on their page, and also in Dashboard), but it doesn't list them as a Blog I am Following in Reader.  I know it's just me being anal, but still... frustrating!

After J woke up, I made breakfast for dinner, and then started watching Hart of Dixie on Hulu.  I had wanted to watch this show, but hadn't really given it a chance.... LOVE this show!   I love Rachel Bilson, and Scott Porter was one of my favorites on Friday Night Lights :)

Sunday: We woke up at a reasonable time and spent the day doing laundry, cleaning the house, etc... It was a great start to the week....

And I made this for dinner:

Mexican Rice Bowls with Fried Eggs (by Cassie Craves)... so good!!!
