Artists I am LOVING: Halestorm

This is my go to band when I am angry, or just feel like rocking out!  I know they make curse, and may not be super PC, but I love them.  I have gotten the chance to see them twice live (3rd time this summer!), and actually didn't know a word to any of their songs before I got to see them the first time.  They really aren't what I would usually listen to, but I am drawn to Lzzy's amazing voice and Arjay's drum skills.

I don't always catch their stuff on the radio, as I listen to either CD's or pop/country radio in the car, but I caught this song for the first time on Glee last season, and I had to find the real version.  It so reminds me of my sister that is in the AirForce, and sums up our relationship PERFECTLY:

This song is a super popular cover, and I have seen it done many times, but I think her version is my absolute favorite:

And then finally, I am not a rock girl, but I LOVED Amy Lee with Seether on this song, but I think Lzzy takes the cake on this one:

Craziness is all that comes to mind... that dress is a little over the top, but on her, it works!

So I know they are a little hard for a girl like me, but I think that is why I love them.  Its not my "norm", and to me it just proves that good music just kinda speaks to people, whether you would normally listen to something like that or not...

J got a chance to see them, and while he liked them before, he was hooked after seeing their live show, too!

Have you seen Halestorm, or are you a fan at all?  We are hoping to catch another show this summer, but not sure how it will work out...
