Concerts!!!!!

I mentioned it yesterday a bit, but am so excited to share our summer concert plans!  With J's new job, it has not only lessened the financial burden for me, but really made it so we can enjoy more things, and hopefully travel more.

We have decided also not to move... the neighbors still have their moments, but J went up to talk to them a couple of weeks ago, and it has gotten better.  This has also freed up some $$ to explore a little more :)

So, without further ado... here is the plan:

July 7... SummerFest in Milwaukee

So excited!!!  I have seen them back in 1997, when they were on their Nine Lives Tour, however, I was 12... so I need to see them again!  My step dad is a HUGE Aerosmith fan, and made sure all 4 of us kids have seen them at least once.  Plus, I have not been to Milwaukee since I was a kid, so it will be nice to explore a new city with J, and Cheap Trick is opening for them :)

July 21:

Lzzy Hale is by far one of my favorite vocalists right now, and has been for sometime. I LOVE her voice.  (I have a whole post drafted on them coming up).  I have also seen them before, this will be the 3rd time I think.  The drummer is AMAZING live!  Buying tickets for this one tonight, actually :)

Laugh it up... but I am excited about this one, too :)  My mom is getting tickets this week also (they went on sale the day of my sister's wedding, we were a *little* busy!).  My Step Dad is also a big KISS fan, and he took all 4 of us to see them also.  I think I was a freshman in HS for that one, and I did get to see the Crue las summer with Poison, however my step dad has never seen them.  Should be entertaining, at least, plus the whole family is going as my Step Dad's 50th Bday present/

This one may take a minute to recognize, as my favorite male lead singer EVER has not been with the band in ages... but I am going to see JOURNEY!!!!  I am such an 80's baby, thanks to my Aunt and parents.  I have loved Journey forever, they are my favorite band ever, and of course I have seen them before.  Unfortunately, not with Steve Perry, but Arnel isn't bad if you don't watch, just listen.

So there it is... my summer is a nutshell.  I haven't paid for a concert in years, thanks to my friend working for a radio station, and now within a 3 month period, I am shelling out cash for 4... nice!
