Blogging Inspiration...

Where do you find your inspiration to blog?  I know we bloggers are a "special breed", and even more so when you get into Food Blogging, Fashion Blogging, etc.   But for those of us who classify ourselves as "Lifestyle" Bloggers, where do you find your topics?

Is it a movie, a song, an event you attended or planned?  How often do you find yourself thinking, "I need to remember to blog this", and then hauling out your phone or camera to take pictures?

And I know myself that I am "guilty" of this one, but how many times do you READ a post by another blogger and make a note of it?  Typically there are the surveys or questionnaires that are always floating around, but sometimes its a "hot topic" that I want to expand on.

I wish I had the creativity I once did.  I could sit in a high school class and whip out twenty short poems, or haiku's, to J, or about anything.  In elementary, a friend and I started writing short stories for no other reason than our own amusement (I would write, she would illustrate), and in middle school, I remember taking a single topic from one class and turning it into a whole series of stories, for no other reason than I LOVED to write.

Now I think real life has taken over.  Luckily there are so many more places now to find inspiration, and to challenge myself into still writing, which I still very much enjoy.

Really, there is no point or "stepping stone" for this post.  I was just thinking about why I blog (again), or where I find the motivation to type out weeks worth of posts at one time one night (thank goodness for drafts and scheduled posts), and then the next I am left completely blank, drained and speechless. 

So again I ask, where do you find the inspiration or material for YOUR blog?
